In 2023, we created a brand identity, packaging system, and website for The Herbal Scoop, a growing herbal tea company in its early stages where every decision had to be intentional and cost-conscious. To keep production lean and avoid high minimums, we designed a unified pouch system across 12 SKUs, using interchangeable sticker labels on a consistent base bag. This made it easy for founder Kendra to swap blends while keeping everything cohesive and recognizable.

As the brand gained momentum, the packaging evolved with it. We shifted into a more expressive direction that brought the botanicals forward, using color pulled directly from the herbs in each blend. The result was a vibrant, playful lineup designed to stand out on shelf and feel just as alive as what’s inside the pouch.

One superfood powder needed its own lane, so we gave it a distinct identity to set it apart from the loose-leaf teas while still feeling part of the same world.

Beyond brand and packaging, we continue to support The Herbal Scoop on the backend as the business grows—helping with product launches, marketing design, and ongoing creative development to keep everything aligned as the brand expands.

From humble beginnings to a fully fleshed-out product line (and an evolving retail presence in the Catskills and Hudson Valley, NY), The Herbal Scoop has been a fun one to build through every stage of growth.
