Moonrise Valley
Moonrise Valley is a camp retreat rooted in nature, escape, and a little bit of magic. I worked with the family and friend team behind Moonrise to build the full brand world, from identity and website to a flexible visual system designed to grow with the experience. It’s a 250-acre retreat where natural beauty and curated design come together, anchored by a 50-acre private lake that hosts weddings, retreats, reunions, festivals, and gatherings. The team behind it grew up in the city but always felt drawn to the wilderness as an escape, shaped by summers by the fire, road trips, and dancing under the stars. Moonrise is their way of bringing those moments together and sharing them with others.
The visual language is inspired by the surrounding landscape and the values of escape, embrace, and explore, with subtle nods to the Girl Scout camp that once lived on these grounds, all brought to life through an eccentric, “out there” lens. We also created an icon system drawn from the property, using nature, native animals, and small moments across the grounds to turn the land into a living visual language.
