Lady Brewsters

Lady Brewsters is an annual collaboration of talented women brewers from some of NOFO’s leading breweries, coming together to raise funds for various Long Island charities. Every March for Women’s Month, these incredible brewers join forces to craft a unique, limited-edition beer. I was honored to be chosen as the artist to bring their vision to life for 2022.

This year’s theme took a playful spin on the phrase "Give Me a Smile," cleverly reclaiming a typically sexist comment with positivity and empowerment. The design captures the connection between these all-too-common remarks—often made in bars—and this year’s cause. Released during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the brew benefited The Retreat, a vital safe haven for survivors of abuse and domestic violence, with support from Long Island Safer Bars. It was a powerful way to turn something dismissive into a message of strength and support.
